Ron Paul Wins Web 2.0 Election!
In an exclusive Decision Velocity unscientific poll conducted over the weekend, Ron Paul soundly beat all other contenders in a full-field election.
The full-field consisted of all announced candidates from all parties and affiliations. The poll lumped all candidates together in a head-to-head competition with Democrats, Independents, Republicans and all others listed in one master ballot, with only one vote allowed. The top results were:
- Ron Paul – Republican 34%
- Barack Obama – Democrat 22%
- Hillary Clinton - Democrat 10%
- Bill Richardson - Democrat 7%
- John Edwards – Democrat 3%
This result stands in stark contrast to mainstream media coverage which routinely ignores Ron Paul in their coverage of the Republican race.
In related questions to Web 2.0 use, 40% of those polled used Twitter, and 68% said they were 90% sure they would vote in 2008.
What conclusions do YOU draw from these results?
[If you don’t like the results, ask yourself, “Did I vote?”.]
