Next time you find yourself shoe-horned into your airline seat with your knees crushed by the table tray, give this guy a call.
Seems he’s the largest owner of passenger aircraft around and has so much sway that he can dictate which planes get built and their “design”.
Steven Hazy is his name and he leases the planes to the airlines, so naturally he’d want the airlines to have as many seats as possible to fill per plane to improve his returns.
And here I was blaming Delta all these years!

As we head toward $6 per gallon gasoline in the U.S., the situation in Canada seems a bit odd. Remember this is a country of less than 40 million people and which has a strong energy sector fueling its economy.
It seems it time for a lot of people to change their Decision Velocity about their discretionary driving habits.
By the way, does anyone know if its possible to run a 4 cylinder engine by shutting of the gas flow to one of the cylinders and just using the other 3?
