Is Doctor Petroleum pumping you?
May 8th, 2007
If you’ve been to the doctor you’ve been poked and prodded and asked, “does this hurt?, how about this, does that hurt?”.
The doctor watches for a grimace and listens for a groan or shrieking complaint.
Right now I’m wondering if the oil companies are poking and prodding the American consumer to see how high prices can go before they grimace and shriek.
What do you think? Do you think the oil companies are trying to determine a “decision point” for this summer’s gasoline prices?

I’m sure that plays a part, but I don’t think this is anything new.
