Newspaper? What’s that?
A report out today from the Audit Bureau of Circulation show something interesting in the circulation of daily newspapers.
Turns out that over the last 6 months ending in March, the top ten circulation newspapers in the U.S. dropped by almost 2% compared to the same period of the previous year. This is nearly equivalent to eliminating the entire Cleveland Plain Dealer’s daily circulation of 344,700.
Seems like the trend away from newsprint delivered information is continuing.
How many newspapers have you read in the last month? For me, it’s zero. Seems like the news in the newspaper is old compared to the on-line fresh “off-the-press” stuff.
